Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX) and the host Harlan Hawks (San Antonio, TX), observed Plano East's volleyball team top Harlan by a tally of 2-0.

The Panthers (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Cathedral Catholic achieved victory over Dawson (Pearland, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Connor for a 6A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, September 2. Harlan will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eastlake (El Paso, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 23-4.
