South Carolina High School Football - Union County can't get by York
August 31, 2023: Union, SC 29379 York Cougars (York, SC) fans left the game content Thursday as they saw their football team nip the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 15-10 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, York improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Clover (Clover, SC) to confront the Blue Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. The Blue Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-1. Clover won 10-8 in their recent non-league test against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC)
With the loss, Union County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Broome (Spartanburg, SC) to confront the Centurions in a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. The Centurions come into the test with a record of 1-1. Broome lost 41-18 in their recent non-league test against Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC)
