August 5, 2025: Ellijay, GA 30540 Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Gilmer improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Pickens (Jasper, GA) to face the Dragons in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 5. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fannin County for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 5. Commerce will face a Rebels squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.
