The Northwest Rankin Cougars topped the visiting Northeast Lauderdale Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Starkville Yellowjackets (Starkville, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 7. Northwest Rankin will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.

The Trojans (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Neshoba Central was dropped by Newton County (Decatur, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
