Hawaii High School Football - Leilehua thwarted by Waipahu
August 8, 2025: Waipahu, HI 96797 Waipahu Marauders (Waipahu, HI) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Leilehua Mighty Mules (Wahiawa, HI), 37-13 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Waipahu advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Marauders host Campbell (Ewa Beach, HI) to play the Sabers in a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. The Sabers go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Campbell won 50-22 in their recent non-league battle against Moanalua (Honolulu, HI)
The Mighty Mules now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Hilo for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23.
