In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the High Point Christian Academy Cougars.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
