The Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) volleyball held off the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Perry for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 9. Lowndes will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
