The Brentwood Christian Bears (Austin, TX) football defeated the visiting Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX), 50-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears face the TMI-Episcopal Panthers (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 8. Brentwood Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 47-20 non-league loss to St. Paul (Shiner, TX).
