Next up, the Lions battle the Spruce Timberwolves (Dallas, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 1. Turner will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record.

Match Summary
In a very slow and quiet start, still struggling to wake up, the Lady Lions still managed to defeat the Lincoln Tigers, proving who is King of the Jungle. While they started off sluggish, the Lions slowly picked up energy, thanks to the serves from senior Joslyn Olivares, bringing life to the court. In the 2nd set, the Lions came roaring to life, lead by top server, senior captain Dylann Barnwell, securing their victory with a final score of 25-21 and 25-7.
