The Friendship Christian Commanders held off the visiting Buckhorn Bucks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Commanders now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Donelson Christian Academy for a non-league test on Monday, September 12. Friendship Christian will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Christian Community (White House, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-6.

The Bucks (10-15) will now prepare for their test against Southside (Gadsden, AL). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 4-13 record.
