The Sun Valley Spartans soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Forestview Jaguars to 2 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.

Next, the Spartans face the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A contest, on Monday, September 15. Sun Valley will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 9-0 record after their 2-2 non-league Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC).
