In Thursday's league challenge, the host Corinth Holders Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Millbrook Wildcats.

The Pirates (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Rams go into the CAP 8A test with a 4-6 record.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens Drive for a CAP 8A test on Tuesday, September 16. Millbrook will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-11.
