The Travelers Rest Devildogs volleyball squad (Travelers Rest, SC), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Daniel Lions (Central, SC)

With the win, Daniel improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Lions host Pickens (Pickens, SC) to encounter the Blue Flame in a AAAA Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Blue Flame go into the battle with a record of 12-1. Pickens won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Greer (Greer, SC)

Next, the Devildogs meet the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Travelers Rest will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Fighting Tigers enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Greer (Greer, SC).
