September 12, 2024: Aiken, SC 29803 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) and the visiting Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC), witnessed South Aiken's football squad knock off Barnwell by a tally of 30-6.
The Thoroughbreds (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Bearcats enter the contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Brookland-Cayce was toppled by White Knoll (Lexington, SC), 40-6, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Warhorses battle the Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 18. Barnwell will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 42-8 non-league win over Pelion (Pelion, SC).
