California High School Football - Cleveland loses to King/Drew
September 12, 2024: Reseda, CA 91335 King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA), 26-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, King/Drew advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Marquez (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Gladiators in a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. The Gladiators go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Marquez lost 49-26 in their recent non-league battle against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA)
The Cavaliers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Westchester for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. Cleveland will play a Comets team coming off a 18-0 non-league win over South Gate (South Gate, CA). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.
