September 12, 2025: Clarks Summit, PA 18411 The Abington Heights Comets football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Valley View Cougars to 7 in the Comets league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Comets face the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Abington Heights will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 38-13 league win over Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA).
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Honesdale was ripped by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 42-21, in a league challenge.
