The Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) football tipped the visiting Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA), 28-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

The now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phoenixville for a Pioneer - Frontier game on Friday, September 19. Pope John Paul II will battle a Phantoms team coming off a 56-7 non-league loss to Kennett (Kennett Square, PA). The Phantoms record now stands at 1-3.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Unionville (Kennett Square, PA). The Longhorns enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Unionville edged Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA), 35-7, in a non-league outing.
