The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets walloped the host Crowley Gent football team by a score of 63-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 21-10 non-league loss to Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA).

With the defeat, Crowley drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Gent travel to East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, September 19.
