The First Baptist Saints felled the host Covenant Knights football team by a score of 42-18 in Friday's non-league test.

The Saints now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Covenant Christian for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. First Baptist will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 46-26 non-league loss to Fort Worth Country Day (Fort Worth, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.

The Knights (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart lost by St. Edmund (Eunice, LA), 55-6, in a non-league challenge.
