Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) and the host Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), saw Cypress Woods's football team bounce Cypress Creek by a final score of 42-10.

With the win, Cypress Woods advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Waller (Waller, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 6A Region II District 16 bout on Friday, September 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Waller won 49-7 in their recent non-league contest against Westside (Houston, TX)

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 bout, on Thursday, September 25.
