West Virginia High School Football - Gilmer County trounces Richwood

September 12, 2025: Glenville, WV 26351

In Friday's non-league match, the host Gilmer County Titans football squad scored a decisive 51-18 triumph over the Richwood Lumberjacks.

The Titans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV). The Tigers come into the Little Kanawha match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Wirt County routed Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV), 42-12, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Lumberjacks confront the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a Coalfield A match, on Friday, September 26. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
