The Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) football bounced the host Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 42-6 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Jets (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Providence Grove was trounced by Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 41-3, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Wheatmore will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 24-14 non-league loss to Randleman (Randleman, NC).
