McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH), 48-20 in a league match.

The Blue Devils (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Bluejays enter the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Jackson-Milton was beaten by Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH), 27-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet match, on Friday, September 19. Western Reserve will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Rockets enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 30-15 league loss to Memorial (Campbell, OH).
