Tolleson Wolverines (Tolleson, AZ) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 32-27 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Tolleson advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to play the Stampede in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Stampede go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Fairfax lost 14-6 in their recent non-league battle against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ)

The Dragons now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. West Point will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 48-8 non-league loss to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
