North Carolina High School Soccer - Jacksonville knocks off Greenfield
September 12, 2025: Wilson, NC 27895 Fans at Friday's non-league outing between the Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC) and the host Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC), saw Jacksonville's soccer squad knock off Greenfield by a score of 3-0.
The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers come into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Laney edged Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC), 5-0, in a non-league test.
The Knights now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Epiphany for a NCISAA Coastal Plain test on Monday, September 15. Greenfield will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 4-3 league win over Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-9.
