In Tuesday's league battle, the host Hough Huskies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mallard Creek Mavericks.

The Huskies (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC). The Titans come into the Queen City 3A/4A battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Hopewell achieved victory over North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Mavericks clash with the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A battle, on Thursday, September 15. Mallard Creek will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record.
