In Friday's non-league match, the host Anahuac Panthers football squad scored a good 42-14 triumph over the Garrison Bulldogs.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Lutheran South Academy (Houston, TX). The Pioneers come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Lutheran South Academy defeated Cooper (The Woodlands, TX), 44-37, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Lovelady Lions (Lovelady, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 20. Garrison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 59-0 non-league win over Groveton (Groveton, TX).
