The Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) football trounced the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), 56-3 in Friday's league outing.

The Braves now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern outing on Friday, September 27.

With the defeat, Hickory drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Bruins in a Southeastern outing on Thursday, September 19.
