Maryland High School Football - Manchester Valley sneaks past North Hagerstown

September 13, 2024: Manchester, MD 21102

The Manchester Valley Mavericks football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting North Hagerstown Hubs to 13 in the Mavericks league triumph on Friday.

The Mavericks now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a Carroll County test on Friday, September 20. Manchester Valley will meet a Lions squad coming off a 19-7 non-league loss to Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, North Hagerstown drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hubs travel to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-2. Governor Thomas Johnson lost 36-0 in their recent league test against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD)
