California High School Flag Football - Merced sneaks past Milpitas

September 13, 2025: Milpitas, CA 95035

The Merced Bears flag football squad scored 31 points and limited the host Milpitas Trojans to 26 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Orestimba for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 15. Merced will face a Warriors team coming off a 38-24 non-league win over Torres (Madera, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-1.

The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Riordan held off Galileo (San Francisco, CA), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
