The Merced Bears got by the host Notre Dame Regents flag football squad by a margin of 14-12 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milpitas for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Merced will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 39-0 non-league win over Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.
