Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA), 39-13 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Milpitas improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Merced (Merced, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 9-1. Merced won 44-20 in their recent non-league battle against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA)

The Spartans now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Live Oak for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. Mountain View will meet a Acorns squad coming off a 31-0 non-league loss to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA). The Acorns record now stands at 0-2.
