The Las Plumas Thunderbirds tipped the visiting East Nicolaus Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 18. Las Plumas will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record.

The Spartans (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record.
