Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) and the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), observed Spring Valley's volleyball team top Buckhannon-Upshur by a tally of 2-0.

The Timberwolves (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Shady Spring achieved victory over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Buccaneers now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkins for a Big Ten test on Tuesday, September 16. Buckhannon-Upshur will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
