The Portage Central Mustangs volleyball squad (Portage, MI), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Ionia Bulldogs (Ionia, MI)

With the win, Ionia improves its record to 15-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 11-2. Byron Center won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Caledonia (Caledonia, MI)

Next, the Mustangs meet the St. Joseph Bears (St. Joseph, MI) in a Southwest Michigan - West challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Portage Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
