In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting South Putnam Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Putnam Cougars.

The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Tiger Cubs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Greencastle beat North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Danville Warriors (Danville, IN) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 15. North Putnam will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).
