New York High School Football - Eastport-South Manor can't hold off Rocky Point
September 14, 2024: Rocky Point, NY 11778 The Rocky Point Eagles got by the visiting Eastport-South Manor Sharks football team by a score of 13-12 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles play the East Hampton-Bridgehampton-Pierson Bonackers (East Hampton, NY) in a Section 11 Division III challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Rocky Point will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bonackers go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 7-6 league loss to Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY).
The Sharks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Half Hollow Hills West (Dix Hills, NY). The Colts go into the Section 11 Division III challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Half Hollow Hills West nipped Westhampton Beach (Westhampton Beach, NY), 45-7, in a league challenge.
