North Carolina High School Soccer - Christ School nudged by Covenant Day
September 14, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105 Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Christ School Greenies (Arden, NC), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Covenant Day moves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Hawks in a test on Tuesday, September 17. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 7-0. Charlotte Latin won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC)
The Greenies now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Asheville School (Independent) for a test on Tuesday, September 17. Christ School will clash with a Blues team coming off a 8-4 league loss to Carolina Day (Asheville, NC). The Blues record now stands at 0-2.
