The Alcorn Central Bears football team (Glen, MS), was beaten 42-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS)

The Urchins (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mantachie (Mantachie, MS). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record.

The Bears now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Belmont for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Friday, September 29.
