Georgia High School Football - Lowndes drops to East Coweta

In Friday's non-league game, the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) football team knocked off the host Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA), by a final score of 42-30.

The Indians (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Lambert (Suwanee, GA). The Longhorns come into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Lambert toppled Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA), 49-33, in a non-league game.

The Vikings now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grayson for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Lowndes will battle a Rams team coming off a 21-19 non-league win over Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC). The Rams record now stands at 3-1.
