The Tecumseh Savages (Tecumseh, OK) football defeated the host McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK), 26-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Savages face the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Friday, September 22. Tecumseh will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Racers enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 69-7 non-league win over Woodward (Woodward, OK).

The Redskins (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK). The Cougars enter the 3A District 1 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, North Rock Creek lost by Holdenville (Holdenville, OK), 34-15, in a non-league bout.
