North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southampton can't get by Ridgecroft

September 15, 2025: Ahoskie, NC 27910

Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad tip the visiting Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Spartans come into the NCISAA Tarheel Independent challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Kerr-Vance Academy edged Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Southampton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greensville County (Emporia, VA).
