The Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC) volleyball held off the visiting Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league battle.

With the win, Spring Creek improves its record to 1-12 on the season. The Gators host James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to encounter the Tigers in a Swine Valley 2A/3A battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-9. James Kenan lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Princeton (Princeton, NC)
