Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) and the visiting Lordstown Red Devils (Warren, OH), observed Pymatuning Valley's volleyball team top Lordstown by a count of 3-1.

The Lakers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chalker (Southington, OH). The Wildcats enter the Northeastern contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Chalker was defeated by Mathews (Vienna, OH), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Red Devils now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John for a Northeastern battle on Thursday, September 18. Lordstown will encounter a Fighting Herald squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bristol (Bristolville, OH). The Fighting Herald record now stands at 11-2.
