Ohio High School Volleyball - Girard bounced by Austintown-Fitch

Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Girard Indians (Girard, OH), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans enter the All-American challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Boardman beat Howland (Warren, OH), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH) in a Northeast 8 test, on Thursday, September 18. Girard will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 10-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH).
