In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Bloomington Central Catholic Saints volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Champaign Central Maroons.

The Saints (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Washington gained a win over East Peoria (East Peoria, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Maroons now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urbana for a Big Twelve test on Thursday, September 18. Champaign Central will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Manual (Peoria, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
