New Jersey High School Soccer - Liberty knocks off Lakewood
September 18, 2024: Jackson, NJ 08527 In Wednesday's league outing, the host Liberty Lions soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Lakewood Piners.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ). The Wildcats go into the Shore B - South outing with a 0-4 record.
Next up, the Piners play the St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 21. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Purple Roses go into the outing with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ).
