The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA) and the visiting Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), witnessed St. Edmund's football squad wallop Morgan City by a tally of 60-0.

The Fighting Blue Jays (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Central (Lebeau, LA). The Hurricanes enter the 1A District 5 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, North Central smashed Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 46-0, in a non-league bout.

The Tigers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Vandebilt Catholic for a 4A District 8 bout on Friday, September 26. Morgan City will encounter a Terriers team coming off a 44-14 non-league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Terriers record now stands at 3-0.
