The Houston County Bears (Warner Robins, GA) volleyball held off the visiting Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league match.

Next up, the Bears confront the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 23. Houston County will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 20-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Harris County (Hamilton, GA).
