The Thornton Academy Trojans topped the host South Portland Red Riots volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Trojans confront the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a Class A outing, on Tuesday, September 23. Thornton Academy will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record.

With the loss, South Portland drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Red riots host Westbrook (Westbrook, ME) to confront the Blue Blazes in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 23. The Blue Blazes enter the match with a record of 2-2. Westbrook won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Noble (North Berwick, ME)
